INTRODUCTION TO THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES

 

The Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences is one of the newly established faculties at Qom University, founded in 2011 in response to the increasing needs of the province for training committed and specialized human resources in both the private and public sectors as independent faculty. It is worth mentioning that before this date, the Accounting and Industrial Management groups were active within the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at the university.

 

Currently, the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in the following specialized groups for both male and female students:

- Department of Islamic Economics: Major in Economic Sciences

- Department of Accounting: Major in Accounting

- Department of Management: Majors in Business Management and Industrial Management.

 

At the master's level, the active programs are as follows:

Department of Islamic Economics: Economic science with two sub-majors; Islamic economics and islamic banking.

Department of Accounting: Accounting major with two sub-majors; Accounting and Managerial accounting.

Department of Management: Business management major which includes sub-majors in; Marketing, Entreprenuership, Strategic Management, Electronic Trade, Domestic Trade, and International Trade.

 

The Industrial Management major includes specializations in:

  • Operations Research
  • Production and Operations management
  • Performance Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Quality and Productivity Management
  • Project Management.

 Admissions will soon be made to the Islamic Economics Major at the doctoral level.
