An Introduction to the Department of Persian Language and Literature

The department of Persian language and literature of Qom University started working in 1995 and now it is accepting female and male students    in three levels of B.A master's level and PhD level.

Every year, at least 50 students (25 men and 25 women) are accepted to the bachelor's level, and on average, 40 people graduate from this level every year. Since 2013, the department of Persian language and literature of the faculty of literature and human sciences has been accepting students for the master's level in both male and female students. On average, 20 M.A students are accepted annually.

Since October 2012, PhD level in Persian language and literature has been created in this department. The journal of Grammatical and Rhetorical research (former literary sciences) of the university is also being published under the supervision of the department.
