The Central Library of Qom University was established in 1980 by the University's founder, Ayatollah Ghazi (may he rest in peace), and Martyr Beheshti concurrently with the establishment of the University. Until 2009, the central library was located in the main University building, and with the start of the academic year in 2009, it was relocated to a new building.
