Karate team of Qom University won 5 medals and became the champion of the 4th region of the country. According to the news and public relations department of Qom University, the karate team of Qom University won 4 gold medals and one bronze medal and became the champion of the fourth academic region of the country.

In this tournament, ten teams from the universities of region 4 of Iran’s universities had participated, and the Qom University team excelled and managed to get the full quota of the karate team to be sent to the National   Sports Olympics   of the universities  in  the country which will be held among all universities of  the country.

In this competition, from the team of Qom University, Hossein Khakdaaman won the gold medal in the weight of( -55 kg) , Morteza Nemati won the gold medal in the weight of (-67 kg), Ali Najafi won the gold medal in the weight( +85 kg) , Seyed Majid Vakili won the gold medal in individual Kata and Mohammad Ehsan Norouzi won a bronze medal in the weight  of (-75kg).
