According to the report from the Press Release of the Public Relations Department of the University of Qom and the announcement made by the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of the University of Qom, in the latest THE ranking system published in 2024, the University of Qom was placed among the top 500 young universities in the world.

Dr. Jafar Ebadullah, the Director of Research and Technology at the University, affirmed that this ranking is the eleventh list of the world's top young universities, which includes universities with less than 50 years of history.

The University of Qom, which had entered the THE World University Rankings for the first time last year, was placed in the 401-500 range of the world's young university rankings in 2024. Additionally, in terms of the number of international students, the University of Qom has secured the top rank in the country and the 38th rank globally.

It is worth noting that approximately 46 Iranian universities are present in this ranking, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is placed second among Islamic countries, after the Republic of Turkey, in terms of the number of universities included.
