Vice chancellor of Research and Technology of University of Qom announced the upgrade of the central laboratory of this university to the "capable" level in the laboratory network of strategic technologies of the Presidential Vice President for Science and Technology.

Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Saeed Farahani Fard said in an interview with University of Qom's public relations department: The central laboratory of Qom University has been upgraded to a capable level in the strategic technology laboratory network of the Vice President's Office of Science and Technology.

 

He added: Due to the efforts of the experts of the central laboratory in providing services to customers and income generating activities, according to the evaluations of the laboratory network of strategic technologies, the position of the central laboratory of Qom University has achieved this success.

 

Vice chancellor of Research and Technology of Qom University stated: The ranking levels of the strategic network, in order of importance, include distinguished-capable-active-experimental and prone to membership, which the central laboratory managed to upgrade from prone to membership to capable in the last one year.

 

He emphasized: The main incomes were from rebar analysis, workshops, skill-building courses and machine analysis, respectively.

 

Vice chancellor of Research and Technology of University of Qom noted: In Qom city, there are two accredited laboratories of the engineering system regarding the analysis of rebar and concrete, of which the civil engineering laboratory of Qom University is one of them.

 

  In the end, Dr. Farahani Fard said: Obtaining the ISO17025 standard is one of the programs of this laboratory, which, in addition to providing better services to students, also provides the possibility of obtaining a premium rating.
